I help study abroad students, faculty & staff ditch the confusion and embrace the
know-how.

Imagine having a speaker who's not just well-versed in cultural competence, but has genuinely been through the multicultural maze herself.

That's where I step in.

With a blend of professional experiences working in the travel industry for almost two decades, plus living abroad for 6 years and dealing with all sorts of unpredictable situations. From navigating adapting to life in Italy to handling those awkward store-stalking moments (yes, it's a thing), I've been there and done that. Moving from the US to Italy was like entering a new world.

But I've cracked the code on
how to handle it all
– minus the emotional rollercoaster.

But I've cracked the code on how to handle it all – minus the emotional rollercoaster.

We're all in this together – and I can't wait to share my insights on why we're more similar than we think.

I have addressed students at NYU’s Villa La Pietra orientations in fall 2022 and winter 2023. The journey continues, with another exciting talk lined up for fall 2023 in the captivating setting of the amphitheater.  The opportunity to delve into the nuances of navigating a new culture is truly an honor.

TOPICS I’M AN EXPERT IN

In our cultural immersion program for American university faculty and staff, we're here to teach you the dance moves that truly help students of color to feel seen, heard, and understood in Italy. Say goodbye to gaslighting and deflecting, and say hello to the right steps for leading productive conversations on combating racial harassment. No more 'just ignore it'! Our workshops offer ultimate insights into addressing and championing racial equality and promoting diversity.

Microaggressions can catch you off guard as a person of color in Italy – like that time a security guard 'accidentally' followed you around the store. Our mission is to empower well-intentioned university staff and professors with intercultural and anti-racism training that equips them with the grace, empathy, and understanding to help students navigate these situations.

Let’s start the conversation.
